Natural Edge Box Elder

This was the first bowl I tried to turn in over two years.  I never really made many bowl so I figured I would get some practice in before my David Marks class.  So I stared out with a piece of Box Elder given to my by someone (can't remember who).   Watched the Bill Grumbine video and he was making one of these.  I had to try it and this is what I got.  Luckily no bones were broken in the making of this bowl.  The bottom is not as smooth as I would have liked.  I didn't bother to finish this other than throw one coat of BLO on it.
